BUILDS: My Civic

Well last night was a true test of determination. Andy and I had a couple of hours to remove my broken, rusty and seized exhaust and replace it with a nice shiny stainless steel cat-back item. Sounds easy, right? Well, did I mention we had to do it at night, with no lights other than torches and it was wet? Yeah…

After a few hours of swearing, shouting, hitting things and setting fire to things, the new system was on! But, as I’ve found out today after driving the car to and from work…it’s hanging far too low. Every speed bump was met with the horrible sound of exhaust meeting tarmac, so my next challenge is to swap the rubber hangers for shorter ones to hopefully increase ground clearance. Sounds simple, but nothing ever is in the world of modding cars…
