Earlier in the month I posted some pictures of one of Jake’s slightly more sane projects; his slammed E21 BMW. In contrast, his main project at the moment is this FD3S Rx-7 which, in comparison, probably qualifies as pretty insane! I don’t have too many details on the spec or the components being used (I’ll update this post if and when I receive more information) but the engine has recently been rebuilt and ported with the help of WGT, a well known rotary specialist here in the UK. Just by looking at the shot of the engine bay below you can tell that this car is going to mean business with a (conservative) estimate of 500bhp on tap upon completion. I can’t wait for the exterior to be treated to some well-deserved attention and to hear the sound of a highly tuned, ported rotary rumbling along the streets.
