I’ve put together some of my video footage from Rockingham’s Easter Monday drift day. I only filmed on the Meihan layout during the event, choosing to ignore the Lakeside track in favour of hopefully seeing some wall running action. Check out the video below and you can find my words and photos from the day here.
I’ve come to the realisation that, if I don’t post photos on the blog within a couple of days of taking them, I never get round to posting them at all. As a result, I’m going to be making sure I’m as proactive as possible with getting blog posts uploaded as I realise there are many people that do appreciate reading these posts.
If there’s been one recurring source of frustration for my 2018 so far, it’s been the weather. While the working week is often spent gazing out of my office window at the sunshine and wishing I could be working on my cars, pretty much every weekend of this year so far feels like it has been spoilt by rain or snow. Easter Monday was no exception, with the weather forecast predicting a 95% of torrential rain during another of Rockingham‘s Meihan style drift practice events.
I posted about the first part of my January journey to Meihan a few weeks ago, so here are some DSLR photos from that particular evening and also the first bunch of my photos from the following day’s drifting at Meihan; a post-Tokyo Auto Salon event organised by N-Style.
Once again, I’ve slipped behind on the blog! Shop duties are by far and away taking over the majority of my time right now but when I say that I promise more content is on the way, I mean it. At the time of writing, I have 88 drafts saved on the blog, all waiting for some photos to be edited up and words to be added to them before making them live! Thank you again for all the support, it means the world to me. Here’s a shot of Miki Takagi‘s Pink Style PS13 at a rainy Meihan back in January.
