Thursday night in South Manchester means one thing (and I’m not talking about the plethora of awesome student nights in town): a meet in Stockport town centre.
As the meets are weekly the turnout’s usually pretty poor, but this time a huge number of cars showed up.
Unfortunately the meet is often tarred by the behaviour of certain individuals who see the relatively small car park as a race track. Thankfully it’s only the minority that cause trouble, but it only takes a few people to cause a serious accident or get the police involved.
The quality of cars was…varied to say the least, but there were a few seriously nice cars, my favourites being the FD3S RX-7, R33 GTST and a blue IS200 which was a welcome change as you don’t see many nicely done ones about.
Overall the meet was a good laugh thanks to the relatively high number of Jap metal and their respective owners, but it was almost overshadowed by the behaviour of others.
