Many customers specifically request tyres that feature white lettering on the sidewalls. Who can blame them; it's a great look!

When choosing the right tyres for your vehicle, there are a few things to note:

  • Not all tyres feature white lettering; most tyres are supplied with entirely black sidewalls. Some tyre models that are usually supplied with white lettering include the BF Goodrich T/A KO2, BF Goodrich Trail-Terrain T/A and the Comforser CF1100 All Terrain
  • Even if a tyre model is typically supplied with white lettering, some specific sizes might not feature white lettering., For example, most variants of the BF Goodrich T/A KO2 feature white lettering, but some don't. If a tyre has white lettering, it will be mentioned on the respective product listing
  • If a tyre has white lettering, the white letters are usually only on one side. For a tyre that is non-directional (i.e. it can be mounted in either direction, such as the BF Goodrich T/A KO2) this means that we can mount the tyres with either the white or black lettering facing outwards. When mounting these tyres for customers, we will always install them with the white lettering facing outwards by default. If you wish for the black lettering to be shown instead, please let us know when placing your order
  • When your new tyres arrive, you might notice that the white lettering is in fact blue. Don't panic! This blue finish is simply a protective layer to help prevent the white lettering from becoming cosmetically damaged in transit. Once the tyres are in your possession, you can use a cloth and some washing up liquid to rub the blue finish off, which will reveal the white lettering beneath
  • Over time, the white lettering on your tyres might begin to become dull. Don't worry - giving the sidewalls of your tyres a good clean will typically restore the brightness of the white lettering.
